Language Activities
As part of the retention incentives, Dialogue McGill funds community networks and educational institutions to offer language activities to health and social services professionals and students. These language activities give health and social services professionals and intake staff the chance to practice their linguistic skills in an informal environment.
Example Language Activities
Conversation Clubs
Some community networks offer informal English conversation clubs for health and social services professionals. An opportunity to practice English skills with like-minded professionals.
Lunch Conversations
Some community networks host English learning workshops facilitated by a language tutor for health and social services professionals.
One-on-One Conversations
Some educational institutions organize one-on-one English or French learning activities for students enrolled in health and social services programs.
