Recruitment and Retention Program

The Recruitment and Retention Program supports initiatives to increase the capacity of health and social service professionals in Quebec. As such, Dialogue McGill provides funding to community networkseducational institutions and other organizations to implement activities and strategies that help recruit and retain professionals in Quebec.

Retention program objectives

  • Increase the number of health and social services professionals able to meet the needs of English-speaking communities in Quebec.

  • Increase institutions’ capacity to hire health and social service professionals by giving institutions incentives to create internship placements and offering support for internship supervisors.

  • Empower Dialogue McGill partners to strengthen the recruitment and retention of health and social service professionals in their community.

  • Increase the number of new graduates capable of obtaining jobs in the different regions of Quebec in order to offer services to English-speaking clients.

  • Promote health and social services careers with the next generation of graduates.
