Dialogue McGill leadership team is contributing to a new CIHR Team Grant application to benefit OLMCs in Quebec.
Dialogue McGill is pleased to announce its participation in a newly funded CIHR Team Grant focused on advancing equitable access to healthcare for Quebec’s English-speaking minority communities. The project, titled “Advancing Equitable Access to Healthcare for Quebec English-Speaking Minority Communities,” has received funding of $1,455,119 for the period of September 2024 to August 2030.
The research initiative is led by Principal Investigator S. Karunanathan, with C. Loiselle, Director of Dialogue McGill, serving as Co-Principal Investigator. J. Vachon, Associate Director of Dialogue McGill, will contribute as a collaborator and knowledge user panelist.
This interdisciplinary project aims to better understand and address barriers to healthcare access faced by English-speaking minority communities in Quebec. Through collaborative research and engagement with community stakeholders, the initiative seeks to inform policy, improve service delivery, and promote more inclusive healthcare systems.
